hello all i am working on a 1986/87 mercruiser 3.0 inboard that has a gremlin somewhere i have replaced the points with a pertronix electronic unit as well as the coil no spark from the coil to the distributor so i then took pertronix back out bought new points and condensor set as well as cap...
i have a 1987 regal medallion with a 3.0 that has no fire at all it has the pertronix ignitor electronic conversion so its not a point condensor problem the cap rotor wires and plugs are all new i tested the +side of the coil and only have 5.6 volts when i disconnect purple wires and test them...
hello all i have a little problem i have absolutely no fire at the plug, nothing coming out of the coil to the distributor it has the pertronix ignitor conversion so not a points problem i have power coming into the coil on the positive side cap and rotor are new as are plugs and wires any ideas...
