78 mercruiser i/o<br />when i raise outdrive all the way up it gets stuck and wont lower. if i stop a couple of inches from all the way up it works fine. with cylinders disconnected and lines off i can move cylinders in and out by hand. any ideas are appreciated
started getting boat ready for summer. first 5 or 6 times trim worked fine. tried to lower but it wouldnt go down. pump motor is working. kinda makes a little higher pitched noise when i try to lower. took pin out of hyd cylinders, didnt help (can raise and lower outdrive by hand). took pump off...
