I have a '64 Johnson Super Sea Horse and I am having difficulty starting it. The plugs are gapped properly and it turns over just fine. It will start if I put starting fluid in it but not without. I've exausted most of the basic troubleshooting techniques, any ideas??<br /><br />---Jimi
I own a 1964 Johnson vxl-10s 60hp outboard motor and I am looking for a good online resource for parts. I need a distributer cap and plug wires. I was also looking to fing the proper gear oil to use as well as oil plugs. And, I was looking for a place to possibly find a rebuild kit for the motor.
