I have a Mercruser 165, she idles great even when cold but warmed up or not she dies when i put it in gear without giving it gas. She will still go slow for a no wake but if i dont get into the gas right away she will die. Should I turn up the idle on the carb? Any other thoughts?

Ok I just got this boat and it wasn't running. Here is what I have done so far.
Replaced plugs and wires
Changed Oil
Removed old gas and put new gas in.
replaced the coil
replaced starter
She turns over just fine but I get no spark. I took a plug out and nothing. There is power to the coil...
