    40 Horse Jonhson dies out when at mid to high throttle

    My 40 Horse Johnson dies out when it is at mid to high throttle. i was told my caburator may need to be cleaned, or my float may be stuck letting in too much gas and flooding it out. Please give some suggestions. Thanks

    40 HP Johnson Wont Start But Has Spark

    I have a 1969 40 HP Johnson Motor that is in very good condition along with an evinrude electric start. When i try to turn it over it makes a noise like it wants to start but it wont. It does have a spark, new spark plugs and new battery, after i turn it over about twice it wont turn over...
