I have a larson too. My old actuator is like yours. The new one fits. Only difference is the ports for the fluid, as shown on the new one compared to the old one, the ports are opposite. Not sure if that matters.
Even after replacing, my steering is stiff
Im not 100% sure where to find the diagram. I have SX-M model outdrive system, so went off those.
I dont see any other part that would fit, other than the one I have. On Ebay, most are like the new one, a select few are like my old one. I think its not a true VP part to begin with.
Update:
So after 2 weekend trips, I got the part replaced. It works, but is still tight. I noticed that the fittings from my old one and new one were backwards.

Thanks. The top bolt I hit with an impact, broke the Locktite loose easily. Bottom one is manual and not alot of room.
Im twin engines so its right behind the starboard engine, and next to the outdrive trim pump.
Thanks, yea I broke the cotter pin, so I have to get some vice grips on it. I have twin engines, its sitting directly behind the starboard engine. I also have the outdrive trim motor and reservoir in the way. I think removing that will give me access.

Couple issues, trying to get my Actuator out, and the bottom bolt is not wanting to come out. Any special tricks? I have about 2" all aorund it to work.
Second, the model number of my outdrives is 3868844, DP. Im having trouble finding the VP part number for the actuator. Thoughts?
Got a new sensor, and it did overide the onboard one. But it still reads a high reading. Im thinking my board is bad for sure.
For a new unit, are there ones available where the display head is wireless so I dont have to take my boat apart to run a new display head wire?
I read that, it seems its a circuit board I need to replace? I dont see where I can buy a 400-IO thermostat and plug it in.
I did read that the sensor might be the way to go, I am working that route now.
Got a Marine Air Systems Model VCP12K. Its saying its 150deg in my boat, and thus never shuts off.
I think the control panel has a build in temperature sensor. Its a passport II control system as best I can tell.
Anyone ever replace the control? What is available to replace it?
Had a starter bolt shear off in the block. The block is set up for offset bolt spacing and straight across bolt spacing. Anyone have a part number for the straight across spacing?
2000 GS PWTR charcoal engine, VP outdrives.
Anyone know the thread size for the water fill on a 2000 larson cabrio 330 cruiser? I dropped mine in the lake, and not sure what thread size it is
