Currently I have an older 16ft V-hull with a new Yamaha F115 on the back. The added the weight of the 4-stroke has created considerable bow rise before out of the hole. I was wondering if a 4-blade aluminum would help keep the bow down out of the hole in this instance. Thanks.

I am in the delema that I would like put my 04' F115 on a hull that requires a 25" shaft length. Will it be cost effective to change the shaft length? Will this void the warranty?
When at idle there is a squeeking noise coming from the engine. The noise is not very loud, but it is noticable. Sounds like the belt or belt tensioner. Anyone else have this problem or know what could be the problem. Thanks!

Does anyone else have any problems with the tilt making noise while trimming up on their Yamaha F115. It sounds like there is some air bubbles in the trim cylinder. I called my dealer and they told me that all the new Yamahas do this and if I trim it up and down 8 times its should go away...
Does anyone have an alternate oil filter number (possibly WIX) for a Yamaha F115 (2004). From what I understand the Yamaha filter is not very good. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
