I purchased a bf35a with no control cables. Is it hard to install them? I'm looking online at the cables and the "universal" ones don't look like they'll fit. Can't find anywhere that gives me a specific control cable. Any help is appreciated.

I'm looking at buying a honda 35 hp 4 stroke outboard but can't find any information on it...
the serial number is AG1000627 on the outside (appears 2 letters are scratched off)
the block has serial number BAGE100066
anyone have any info on where I could look these numbers up?
Looking at buying a 1975 johnson 50 hp for the boat. never owned a johnson, anyone else have this engine? how is it? I had a 1990 40 merc which 2 fuel hoses ended up costing 1000's in damage.....dealer wants $700.
any help with this outboard would be great
My 1990 40 HP Merc was working great up until today.
I can start it with the idle throttle up but the minute I place it down, the motor shuts off.. it seems to be leaking gas and maybe oil?(dark red color) inside the housing unit and into the water.
Not a clue what it could be!
My newly acquired Endura 55lb trolling motor propeller will not turn, it has power going to the unit as you can hear it change speeds but it will not turn the prop... any ideas?
new fully charged battery.
Im looking at adding a livewell onto my 1982 16' sylvan seaman. Anyone have any tips on how to do this? Ive seen the kits on cabelas and bass pro, any better then the other? Any advices is greatly appreciated!
