Yes, that was replaced but the fitting would still not seal properly, and the metal is deformed such that the brass washer will not stay in place after peening. For now, I just tapped the hole and placed a 6-48 screw in there. I would really like a shutoff so that the tank does not purge fuel...
I have a leaking tank pickup. It is the pin valve for the fuel shutoff. when disconnected. The repair did not work. Looking to replace it. Will a plastic duratank pickup assembly fit the mounting holes on the metal tank? Hope so as it looks like an easy, inexpensive fix. Hate to discard the tank...
