Just got a used 2007 Tohatsu MFS6B 6hp 4stroke motor with an alternator. It is a dual coil system but both coils are shorted so I need a replacement. New prices are pretty high. There seem to be a lot of 9.8HP coils out there but are they the same? The part number for 6hp is 3AS-06023-0...
