can press firmly on crack and it flexes :eek: i also think its taking on water here , is it possible to repair from under deck with epoxy resin/poly and some mat its on the underside pretty close to where the deck meets the gunwal the floor was replaced 9 yrs ago by previous owner and thoughts...
so while washing the boat i noticed a crack near on of the ribs. not good. knocked on it and it sounds hollow and can flex it pressing firmly on the spot . what do you think rotten stringer??? i didnt hit anything can this be fixed by pulling up the floor and possibly laying additional glass on...
1983 john 115 i replaced the two seals behind the prop and water is still getting in the lower unit fill and drain screws both have seals/washers is there any where else that the water could be getting in at? tanks for the help

woke up 3:30 am finally got to the ramp put it in the water fired it up and instantly alarm buzzer started screaming definatly wasent hot not even warm new cooling system pump cup impeller stats springs and so on buzzer melted and finally stopped screaming 1983 johnson 115 crossflow v-4 any help...
what alarms does this motor have? it comes on occasionally not every time i take it out but every once in a blue moon to ghet it to turn off i kill the engine and hit the batt disconnect fire it back up and it stops and wont come on again any ideas ? i pre mix fuel and just replaced the whole...
noticed the pisser was weak so i ordered an impeller off i-boats not here yet so i took apart the thermastat housing and the thermastats look okay . should water flow strong threw the pisser when on muff even if the impeller is worn?
1983 115 johnson. Rebuilt the carbs put it all back together runs great but now the primer won't work with the ignition key have to prime manually. when it worked i could hear a click now i hear nonthing and was wondering if i hooked up a wire on the primer/choke wrong or if its just bad timing...

omc controlls will only give engine small amount of throttle not even 1/4 throttle but shifts in gear fine and the linkage on the engine side needs to retract for lower idle what s going on with that
starter is good but the neg wire on side of motor gets so hot it smokes then the neg terminal on my batt melted rite off the batt what the hell is going on?????????

so i was hooking up the batterie and tried to turn over the motor no turn but it did make a whining noise and smoke from the neg wire on the side of the motor i checked the connections on the batterie and the colors match the bat so i tried it again and it melted the neg terminal off...
