I have a 2001 merc 25 horse 2 stroke. To change the impeller do I need to diconnect the shift rod under the carb before removing the lower unit? or is it splined like some of the others?
I am looking at purchasing an 1984 johnson commercial 40hp. My concern is the compression it shows 112 psi and 110 psi. It seems too low. What do you all think?
