    Size for flywheel nut - 1982 Johnson 35hp

    I have been told that I need to replace the sheared flywheel key on my 1982 Johnson 35hp outboard. If I take the bolt off the top can I get to the key or is it further down? Do I need a flywheel puller like on a car engine? What's involved?

    Johnson 35HP slows during the day

    I have a Johnson 35HP that slows during the day. When I start off the boat goes well up on a plane, yet coming home later in the day it seems like it's just barely on plane. Any ideas? I've noticed it several times (different days).

    Transom glue

    I'm making a transon from two pieces of 3/4" outdoor plywood which I plan to seal with epoxy. What is the best to glue them together? Should I also use epoxy or will poly construction adhesive be ok? I've heard that it sticks for a lifetime, wet or dry.

    To repair a transom (new wood) and floor in a fiberglass boat, is polyester OK (with glass cloth) or should I bite the bullet and pay triple for epoxy?
