Have a 2004 merc 3.0 , followed timing procedure to the letter . Made up the jumper wires and connected one to Distributor white leads , the other to bypass shifter . Set timing and RPMs to spec , shut motor off and removed jumpers , tried to restart and motor will not run . Put jumpers back...
