my front green/red navigation light isnt working... i took it off and put a voltmeter on the 2 wires... i'm getting a reading of .59 volts....what should i be getting there? the fuse is good.... any troubleshooting help would be appreciated
well i been gone a couple months then i come home and try to do some maint. on my boat and motor...i took both batteries out to charge them...and i ran new fuel hose/bulb from tank...tonight i drop the batteries in and i think i crossed them!! sparks flew.....the nav lights work...the bildge...
i'm thinking about rebuilding my lower unit because of klunking sounds...its not bad right now..just hear 2 klunks when i take off and thats it...but i'm sure it will get worst.....from what i have read here it seems to be the foward gear and dog ear clutch.....

i have a 1990 us marine 120 hp motor that has a couple "klunk" sounds coming from lower unit when i take off WOT...i'll prob be looking to replace it soon...so i want to start looking on ebay now.
what years and motor size lower units can i use on my motor?
