I do not like this cable I got . I know it's aftermarket but God damn it socks.
Im thinking. I'll take this cable out and get an oem one with oem hardware
Going to the store t get gear fluid n I'll test it out
Update.
The repair
I cut the old lower shift cable out and use a 3/4 socket to remove it the rest of the way.
On the side the goes into the engine I tap my new one so I can snake it in easy.
I pull and after 3 or 4 min I finally have the new lower shift cable routed in.
I use my Dremel...

Boys I think i found the God damn problem.
It's definitely the wrong propeller.
On the old propeller I was able to clean off and see it says
15 1/2.

Thanks I had no idea I'm supposed to replace the plugs n gaskets. Any idea where abouts a quality kit would come from? And is it just marine 80-90 I put back in?

Worked like butter. 2 smacks and she was free.
The gear oil looks great no water in it. It definitely needed a change. This stern is a mystery to me. Idk the service records at all

Yah I have never installed a propeller before but I could tell immediately something was not right. I'm still unsure if I need the hub pressed into this propeller
