    I have spent the last 2 hours with a flywheel puller on the bearing housing on my 1985 90 hp Evinrude soaking it with WD to no avail. Does anyone know any special tricks to getting a difficult bearing housing out? Slide hammer? Last resort Heat? thanks

    What year is this Motor

    I recently purchased a boat that has sat an extended period of time, 4 years, it has a 90 Hp Evinrude 90MLCOS What year could it be. Using the introcudes method it is a 1950. Not possible it has VRO, the paperwork says it is a 87 but it could be a 85 if using the CO.
