    Can i use an oil pump

    Been reading the forums and have read about the vro and the pump. I have a 1986 140hp looper that had the vro diconnected which means that i have to mix my gas. Its not a big deal but could i install one of these pumps on my engine. If so were can i buy such a pump. And how reliable are they.

    Looper or not

    I have a 1987 140hp johnson its on my chaparral 198f fishing boat. How can i tell if its a looper or what it is.It does run great.
