    1995 Evinrude 175hp Ocean Pro - No Spark

    I was running the motor yesterday, 95 Evinrude 175hp, model # E175EXEOM and the fuse near the wire harness on the side of the block blew. Everything went dead, no tilt or trim nor would it turn over. I replaced the fuse and all power has returned, but now the engine will not start, no spark...

    Am I off my meds again? I accidently cut one of my spark plug wires in half.. I was working on one of the engines and went to turn it over and one plug wire got caught up in the alternator belt. I just looked up the mercruiser part number 881698 (wire set) and found the list price is $575.00...
