    Is the impeller in the lower unit like a ALPHA or is it up by engine run from engine belt. ? Going to work on for a friend - I have on MANY ALPHA'S but no bravo's

    Also. I have never dug into a BRAVO 3 out drive. Is there a impeller in the lower like a ALPHA . Or is the pump up by the engine ? ( boat is in storage )

    I was able to fi d out that it IS NOT A CLOSED COOLING SYSTEM !!! It is cooled by lake/river water

    I am having a TOUGH TIME finding out info on a 6.2 mercruiser serial number 1A061105. Not coming up on parts schematics ? Owner ran without muffs turned on for 1-2 minutes he thinks ? Open cooling system not closed. Wondering if it's OK?

    Took rams apart like new no corrosion !! Got a hold of a pump I'm thinking weak ? With lines off and hit pump juice pours out up and down so trying this

    That just might be it. I've took rams off unit and then bled system and not a thing. Now I'm going to pull end caps and see inside

    pump runs in both directions -- up and down but nothing happens as far as raise or lower - never had this happen before possible sensors ? not sure - any suggestions on where to start looking going to try to bleed this am but dont think that will help ? could be wrong

    I am hearing different conflicting stories about lower ratios in a se106 that most of the lowers are 1.65 ? Is this actually correct y that a lower from a small v6 or 4 cyl can be used below a v-8. ?
