    Hi, just wondering if anyone can tell me what year my chrysler 15hp is . I can't find the number except for 472712 on the inside of the cowl and when you remove the cowel there is a number 286038. Cheers

    Impeller key problem

    I'm having trouble getting my waterpump to pump water. I put in a new kit but noticed that the key that holds the impeller on the shaft is worn out a bit and the Impeller seems to be a bit loose.     Hi all, I was changing the water pump on 1971 18hp evenrude and was wondering if it is OK for the drive shaft to come out of the gear housing as it seems to be able to be easily pulled out?

    No thermostat

    I recently changed my water pump on a 1971 evinrude 18hp model 18102s after the old one stopped pumping water and it still doesn't work, however after i decided to check the thermostat I noticed that it didn't have one, does this affect the motor in any way or can i run it without one?

    Hi there, I have a 1971 18hp Evenrude Model number 18102s and it stopped pumping water so i put in a new water pump and impeller but it still doesn't pump water, I noticed the little key on the shaft which slots into the impeller is a bit worn, could this be th problem?

    nedd help with a hanimex 7.5hp 1975

    I have a hanimex 1975 model 7.5 hp air cooled engine and the last time i took it out it seemed to go alright for a couple of minutes and then cut out, so i had to keep restarting it every couple of minutes. Would anyone have any info on these old motors, would be much appreciated
