hello the above motor starts and runs great. when you first turn key to start it does then alarms 6 loud beeps. then its quiet. ideas? great site and thanks in advance tim
I have a 2005 Merc 30 HP 4 Stroke EFI. I am looking to replace the coolant temperature sensor. The sensor that makes the alarm if you have a bad impeller for example. Would anyone know where to look on the engine and what it would look like?

hello, I have the above motor. After 5 minutes of driving at full speed the motor alarms. A steady alarm. after slowing to idle it goes away after a minute. I changed the water pump impeller and the thermostat but it still does it. any ideas?
