    bilge pump

    My Rule 500 pumps fine but does not pump until the float is almost at the top of its travel. Do I need a new switch or is some sort of repair/adjustment possible?

    I have a '71 Mercury 400 with Mercontrol. The ignition switch starts the motor but will not shut it off. Can I just replace ignition switch? The choke button and tach output are also inoperative. Thanks, Bob
