Does anyone know if this 2+2 motor can be modified to run on all cylinders all the time???? (SER#06516715) I might burn a few more gallons every season but it seems like a fair trade to eliminate a stinky characteristic of this motor.
I'm trying to get accurate info on this 500/50 so I can replace the impeller which isn't pushing out any water at all. A little history-- this motor has been on a stand in the garage for about 6 years--ran fine then. Hooked up the muffs--it still runs fine but won't pass water thru the tell-tale...
