I have a 1972 50hp Evinrude. I am trying to install the push button to start. I ran a wire from the battery to the push button, then froim the push button to the sylinoid. But the sylinoid just trips but wont turn the starter. Can i just bypass the sylinoid and just put a switch from the battery...
