    Evinrude H.P. upgrade?

    I have a '78 Rude 25 h.p. short shaft electric start. I was told that the 25 could be converted to a 35 h.p. and that they were the same except for bigger carb (jets). Anyone have knowledge of this? If so how is it done?thanks

    Replacing Fuel/VRO pump with old style GT150

    I have a '85 Johnson GT 150 (TLSCO) and wanted to replace the fuel pump with an old style.My VRO has been disconnected for several years now. Has anyone done this on the '85 or '86 models? If so any major problems, tips or other info?. Does anyone know what part number for the fuel pump? thanks
