    I detached the hose that runs from the fuel pump to the carb. I then primed it and fuel was coming out. There are no leaks. The carb doesn’t seem to be getting any fuel.

    I was planning to go to my local salvage yard and have a look. A push pull system may be simpler and cheaper.

    I have a 14/42 Jon boat with a 1974 25hp Johnson. I am trying to add remote steering. A pulley system seems to be the only option for this motor. A lot of the parts for this system I feel I could just get from Lowe’s. Am I correct? Or do I need to be hunting for specific parts?
