    Will 1977 OEM manual be ok ?

    4500 - 5500 rpms or 5800 ?

    I have read and been told to shoot for 5500 WOT rpms as well as 5800 - 6000 . My motor a 1978 Johnson 115 , has 4500-5500 on the plate.     Water pressure ?

    1978 Johnson 115 ETL, I have my water pressure gauge hooked up and working. Its a 30 psi., I have it hooked into tell-tale line , tell tale blocked off. I get 2-3 lbs. at idle and 11-13 lbs. at WOT (5100 rpms.), is this in the ball park for my motor ? I am trying to get a 17 pitch prop...

    New tach works great but water pressure gauge does not Please help.

    I installed my new tach and pressure gauge yesterday . I went to lake today the tach works perfect . The water pressure gauge ( 30 psi teleflex for outboards) Does not show a thing .
