Im dealing with amc saber 25 hp and i havent been able to find a parts dealer. There really is no underlining problem only that id like to be able to find carb kit and if i rebuild it seal wise id like to know there's some where i can buy them.
I heard adding the right back pressure helps reduce the amount of lost fuel out the exhaust and can also add better power efficiency. Or adding a fuel control valve will help, but you have to be very aware at all times that its on the fuel line if you throttle up alot or are running wide you...
It runs great and i haven't had it on the water yet, but wanted to know some things before i do hit the water. MPG and what kind of speed can i expect. The boat I mounted it to is a rebuild 1972 steury and its a great old boat. 18 footer hold 7 people or 1,750 pounds all together.
