    mercury hesitation

    i have a 82 mercury 140 hp. i got it out on the lake after getting the carb rebuilt and it runs excellent except from a stop if you give it full throttle it hesitates for a second then goes. is there any way to improve this?

    stern drive doesnt lower

    i have a mercruiser stern drive and the trim control will not lower the prop down the pump is turning but it doesnt sound like it used to it sounds like its not pushing any fluid what could cause this? im not sure what type of stern drive it is. it says mercruiser powertrim on it if that helps...

    mercury 140hp I/O rough running

    I'm not sure the exact year but it is a late 70s model. i can get it to start only if the throttle is open about halfway and it will only stay running if the throttle is cracked. if i bring it down to idle it runs extremely rough for a few seconds then dies.
