My throttle is slipping when running and I don't see an adjustment to tighten it down. Does anyone know if this the type that is under the console?
I think the part # is 883711a12 if that helps.
It's a 2012 model with silver sides and black strip down the middle with the merc logo on the bottom...

I'm trolling thru the web about these pads and they make a lot of different kinds. Has anyone tried them with the boat in the water? I'm going to try them and see if they do a better job than the scrub brushes.
Scrub brushes do a pretty good job but they also miss a lot of small stuff.
Wow!, it was slow. The grunge on the bottom from sitting at the well all winter sure made it dirty. We lost 400rpm's and 6 to 7 mph.
I went and ordered a new 12" scrub brush with stiffer bristles to clean the bottom when the water warms up.
I wish someone would invent something that would make...

Went to the boat this evening and plugged in ipod and wanted to listen to music but something didn't sound right. I switched the balance to the left side 2 speakers and nothing, right 2 work fine.
The stereo is a Clarion cms1
I assume that I will have to remove it from the dash and hope a wire...
We have the Merc. 150hp 4 stroke on our Berkshire 230cl tri toon It has an Enertia 3 blade ss prop on it 15 1/8 x 14 and runs 5,200 rpm's at 33 mph.
The dealer has tried 3 ss props on it and all gave the same exact results. one was 15x15 4 blade and I don't remember the 3rd one.

We have a Clarion radio in our boat with 4 speakers. I think it has a built in antenna and the reception is poor. Does anyone know a way to boost the antenna? for better reception.
Well I'll try to keep this short. Last year we bought a 2012 Berkshire 230cl triton with the Merc 150 4stroke motor. The 1st motor blew a 3 inch hole in the block as the dealer was testing it out before we ever got it.
Mercury rushed another motor and I had a problem with the throttle linkage...
Has anyone tried any premium spark plugs, like Iridium or something similar? If so what were the results. I'm curious as to what the results were as they claim a lot of things on the net.
I am curious as to how much of a discount you got on your Bennington? I went to the Bennington forum and they claim around 22% as an average off of MSRP. Is that factual? I don't care what other mfg's are giving, just Bennington.
We have a 2012 Berkshire and I like to see what other boats are running. Is it just me or have they taken a big jump in price. It seems like the mid line boats with tritoon and 150hp engines are in the upper 30's and lower 40's.
Benningtons are starting in the 40's and that's just for the frame...
When you run your boat at a faster speed can you see your cavitation plate? I'm not sure how far under the water it should be.
Mercury's web site claims that the higher your motor the faster the boat will go, you just need to make sure that it's not to high.
