    Suzuki DF140 longevity

    How many hours can be expected assuming normal use before needing overhaul? I am looking at two DF140 that came off of a charter boat. Thye have 3900 hours on them. The pistons and cylinders show no wear, the vales and valves seals have been replaced. Any ideas on how many hours they can run...

    Suzuki DF140 no start, cranks, has spark

    I started my 140 after a couple of months of not using it (using fresh gasoline), it ran for 3-4 minutes then stalled. I attempted to restart, it cranked over, could hear fuel pump running, getting spark to all 4 plugs, but would not start. Mechanic (here in Panama) says he cannot use computer...

    Suzuki 140 @ 5000 RPM all the time?

    Hi,<br /><br />When I cruise, I am running my 140 4 stroke at 5000-5100 RPM, making 20 knots. Will this shorten it's life? On an average fishing day, I run at that speed for 2 hours, the rest is trolling at 2200 RPM.
