I just installed a new gimbal bearing (SEI Marine) using a tool kit I got off eBay. I wanted to verify engine alignment, but the second shoulder of the alignment tool won't go into either the new gimbal bearing or the original. Am I missing something here, or is my alignment tool too big? 1998...
