I would like to get a cover for my Aristocraft Funliner with a Merc o/b. It will be used primarily for summer use when the boat is parked on the trailer outdoors. I will store it indoors during the winter. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.
I recently acquired a rebuilt and restored 1965 Merc 1000 motor for my Aristocraft Funliner. Does anyone have any suggestions on finding a tach that will work with this engine? Thanks for any guidance, Dave
I am in the process of having a Merc 100 hp engine rebuilt for my 17' Funliner - what kind of speed should I expect from this boat with a good running engine?
I bought a 17' AristoCraft boat recently; it's my kids and my winter project. In Illinois we have to title the boats. I have not been able to locate a serial number on the hull. It is a 17' outboard; year unknown. Prior owner had no paperwork but signed the Ill. DNR forms.
It has a 100hp Merc...
I have a 1963 Merc 100 hp "tower of power", with no compression in the top cylinder. I know nothing else about the engine other than it ran last year(probably not too well!); no idea of the lower unit, etc.
I would appreciate any thoughts and insight on whether it's worth it to bother fixing...
