1995 Merc. 75hp serial# 0G271057 Model 1075412RD. I've rebuilt the carbs. and decided to inspect the reed valves. Looking at manual there are 2 check valves behind #2 reeds that are supposed to have nylon balls but there are none. Are these important if so what problems would they cause...
