    minor transom rot

    Transom Replacement

    Hey folks, I have a '73 Ouachita 14' and upon removing the motor I notice that the interior of the transom is getting soft. the exterior is solid. The boat is fiberglass. Can I replace the transom or use it till the motor falls off? Or just scrap the boat?

    Just drained my lower unit and the first steady stream was clear water, after that milky oil. Where do i start to track down this problem, or is this a problem. Never have had so much water come out only milky oil in the past. Thanks

    Cooling problems?

    I have and evenrude 25. Ser# 25252. I notice that on the transom side of the shaft housing that there were two pee holes and were emmiting water. Now that I'm using the boat regulary I noticed that the bottom hole trickels water and the upper hole does nothing. Should I be worried.<br />Thanks

    Fly wheel removal

    I have a 25hp evinrude 72 and cannot remove the flywheel. Yes I did remove the nut and have broken 2 removal bolt head trying to remove it. Am I missing something. thanks for the help

    1 Hour limit

    Hey good friends, My 25hp evinrude will run at wot for about 1hr and then spit and sputter, then quit. any suggestions. this has happened several times in the past few outings. after it rests a little it fires right up with no problems. Thanks
