    alpha one Gen II HELP!

    Tried to put the drive on the boat today and it gets hung up about 1 inch before getting to the mating surface on the gimbal housing. Tried three times and checked for whatever could be holding up and saw nothing. Now it's caught on something in there and for the life of me it won't come back...

    Merc 5.7, Alpha One Gen II

    Forgot how the impeller should be oriented. If looking from the top of the impeller housing, the blades should be flexed to spin in a clockwise rotation for a left hand rotation crankshaft.....right?

    Just bought a used 1994 Proline with a bad oit pan. The engine is not original and was replaced by a local marina. Any way to find the horsepower rating by casting number? 14093638.

    1985 Mercruiser 140 timing

    Went out Sunday and listened to the thing ping the whole way back! The temp never went over 140. Anybody know the timing on this thing? I don't really want to be messing with it on the water.Hate to buy a book for this one.

    Another engine ID help post

    Just aquired a 10 HP 2 stroke McCulloch outboard from a friend and the engine cover is missing. I need to identify the engine for this and to buy a few parts to get it running again. It does have a tag on it. Is it possible to find out the year by the serial number? There is no manufacter date...

    1991 evinrude model 60

    Can anyone tell me what is the proper amount of time to prime the engine at the key switch for cold starting? It is oil injected with an electric primer. Thanks :-)

    Evinrude keeps flooding

    I have a used 1991 17' Bass Tracker Boat with a 60HP Evinrude 3 cyl, 2 cycle. The engine has minimal hours on it yet when I try to start it, it floods very easily. I have checked the spark and changed the fuel. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me
