I’m greatly appreciative for your information. I have a manual and studying it now. I’m looking at the system for FFI oiling and starting to understand the way it works. I’ll let you know how it turns out .
Interesting. I’m going to look into that. I’ve been told that pre mixing the oil into the gas is not possible for that motor so I’m not about to do that. Also I noticed the port side intakes have 2stroke oil puddled inside but not the starboard.
That was also obsolete for that motor so I bought one from a newer motor and tried it but still had that problem with the oil pouring from the exhaust while running. Could there be something with the ECM?
Motor run’s well it’s a little smoky with the excess oil running down through the exhaust . I replaced the check valve. Couldn’t find the original because it being obsolete so I got one from a year newer model. It still over flows through the exhaust. Maybe there’s something with the ECM?
It seems to be unburnt 2 stroke oil and it’s coming out from where the exhaust exits the propeller. At first I thought it was the gear lube leaking so I replaced the seals and o ring that’s when I realized it was definitely 2stroke oil. Could it be oil reservoir pump bulb?
The engine sat for awhile but was started and was fine. Then one day I noticed blue oil running down the outside. Took off cover and air box to see and discovered a check valve on the return hose to the oil reservoir had broke. I searched on line and found the very last one and replaced it. I...
Have a situation where the engine is running and 2 stroke oil is pouring out of the exhaust. Motor starts up and runs well. I have asked around for a while to see if anyone has heard of or had this problem. I’ll try to post a video of it and maybe someone can give me an idea what to do.
