    I have a problem with my 1980's motor. It seems to have developed a problem where the engine stops for literally a split second at a time during cruising/full throttle.     I have just purchased a Johnson 140 attached to a Simms Super V 16'. The engine Model # is: J1401LC1M and Serial # : C8117241 Can anyone put an age on this unit? Are there any known faults/weeknesses to look out for on this motor? Regards
