    I have a 1995 3HP Johnson. It is stuck in forward gear. There is no reverse. When I shift to neutral, it does not disengage. Any ideas?

    I have a 3HP Johnson outboard, about 1995 vintage, model J3REDD. It is stuck in forward gear (there is no reverse). How do I get it back to neutral? Shifter moves, but no disengagement.
