New to me 150. Hooked all the old dash gauges into the new wiring harness, but now the trim gauge is pinned (worked before the engine swap). When I went to the engine the brown/white wire (bullet - male) was just sitting there, no female in sight. The harness from the trim had purple/black...
Just re-powered my 2002 Trophy 1903 (2880 pounds) with a 2018 Merc 150 4 stroke. The new engine came with a 14 pitch pontoon prop so I'm not sure what would be a good prop for overall performance.

The first time I tried to read the green/white to white/green the DVA came back 10.47. The next time I tried it came back 0L on the multimeter. The engine is running at idle (900 rpm). After that I tried testing the trigger wires to see if the DVA had gone bad. All wires tested over 3V, which is...
I’ll attach a link to the video I took. You’ll see air, but when it stops, it’s due to me pressing the fuel bulb.
no air in the lines from the tank to the bulb. No air from bulb to “molded” Merc fuel line. This is where the oil line enters and the “bleeder” line enters.
any thoughts?
could it...
Just trying to eliminate a possible air leak somewhere in the system.
I have a clear plastic filter on my 2002 125
when I pump the ball, the filter is half filled, at idle there is only 1/4 fuel in the filter.
Mercury 125 - 2002.
Stator was within CDI’s ohms range of 500-700. I let the engine run for 5 minutes and the ohms reading came back at 803. What is this supposed to tell me about the stator?
Original cdm modules all read 1230ohms(3 of them), pins A to C. CDI CDM I ordered was within spec (4th...
Not sure where to go from here. Here’s what I’ve done:
re wired dash with rockers
boat lost 7mph at the top.
- cleaned carbs
- added fuel/water separator
- checked fuel
- tried bypassing the rev limiter
Here’s what I found:
2 red and 2 yellow wires from stator to voltage...
