    I am told to torque cylinder head screws. Are these the 4 around the spark plug?<br />Ron

    Evinrude '96 2HP won't idle

    Evinrude '96 2HP won't idle. It starts up quickly but it is hard to get it to idle at the lowest speed. I have to start it with a full choke, it speeds up as the choke is lowered. I lower the gas. It gasps and stalls. I have a service manual on the way. Any ideas?<br />Ron
