    I am having a problem getting the starter drive gear to line up with the flywheel. It is a volvo 280 drive and a rebuilt 0010 casting # 350 block.     was wondering what the small hole on the front of the lower unit does. looks to be about an 1/8 inch hole. and where does the rubber hose go to after it leaves the port in front of the shift shaft? the one im looking at has been J B welded closed?

    What do you experts recomend on a stock cam for a 87 ford 460? I was trying to figure out what a good grind would be. There is a roller set up in it now. Goin to keep that, just want to tune the cam down a bit. Its a little to lopey. thanks.

    could a ignition off an 80's style il6 115 work on a 78 il6 140? the 140 has a distrubutor and the 115 has the six coils. they have the same diameter flywheel. could i take the whole setup, wires and all and install that on the 140?
