what I’ve done,
- remove carbs, soak clean rinse, blow out, push thin wire through small holes blow out again rebuild with new kit from mercury.
- replace any wire that was frayed or beginning to fray.
-take boat to water to set the carbs
-compression good on...
I’ve just about got my carbs ready for a soak and clean while I get the new gaskets. But my dad asked if they were a full kit or just the gaskets. I told him I’m pretty sure they’re just the gaskets.

I’m going to fix some wiring on my 1970 650 and came across this item and not sure what it does? It’s purpose and function. I see the wires are probably beyond repair as there not much to work with. It’s sideways in the picture.
