    Dose anyone know where i might find the serial number of a 1988 johnson 115 hp. the one on the upper part of the right head is not ledgalbe.

    1976 evinrude idle

    I recently purchased a 1976 Evinrude 70 engine. It has had a hard starting problem and idle in gear. if i open it up and back off it runs really good until it idles again aand it dies. HELP
