I have a question and hope you can answer - I (we) just bought a boat with 2.5 hours on it that sat on a lot for 2.5 years and at pick up were told it had 25 gallons of fuel. Assuming they stabilized the fuel and having no idea when the fuel was put into the tank - is it safe to run in my brand...
It all began when I tried starting without the lanyard - for about 20 minutes.
The starter got heated up pretty hot. Once I figured out the lanyard was off I let the starter cool and charged the battery.

I just had my yoke seal (gimbal bearing, and bellows) replaced on my Bravo 1 outdrive which eliminated most of the disappearing oil but we're still losing 1/4 inch per ride so we now suspect a prop seal leak.
My question is if it is the prop seal would any oil at all be going into the bilge...
I just had my Bravo 1 outdrive rebuilt due to a faulty yokeseal and since re-installed it has drained an entire oil reserve reservoir. Since out first trip out where 1/2 inch or more disappeared - refilled- then overnight lost 1/8" in about 24 hours and another 1/8" after a good ride - WOT...
When the key (either key - regular or training) is removed the engine compartment has a click that draws down the battery. Does anyone have any ideas? This happened about 2 weeks into our season. The Sea Doo turns on if the batters isn;t dead but we have been disconnecting the battery cable...
