    Tohatsu Air Silencer

    Hi again everyone, The Air Silencer on my 96 9.9 2stroke, looks like a plastic duct, is it supposed to have anything inside (foam, insulation or something) Just wondering if it could be more effective. Thanks Ivan

    Noise level

    I Know, I Know, they make less noise when turned off, etc.... But sometimes the noise level may need attention. I have a 96 Tohatsu 2 Stroke 9.9, It idles well and quiet Enough, it screams well when doing 25MPH, on a 9 ft Dinghy but in between... If I need to travel inside the marina, at No wake...

    Tohatsu 2 stroke 9.9 or 15hp?

    Hi everyone, Is there a way to tell by looking at it, if this motor I am working on has been converted to 15HP, would the cam's look diferent or have any markings? The motor I am working on is a 96 9.9 2stroke
