When I am in forward gear, the motor will rev to about 1200-1400 rpm, then it will chug and drop to about 900 rpm. Could this be because of the red shifting cable? The boat is a 1972 and who knows if it has been changed.. I don't know much about boats, but am pretty mechanical. Thanks in...
Alright, I'm at a loss.
I can't get any water to pump through the sea water pump. Do i need to prime it? We've tried everything we can think of. And second, where do I hook up water muffs to get a good seal on this drive?
