    i had 76 15 hp evinrude short shaft on 76 Lund S-14 deep v fishing boat it idle smoothy and pull only 1 time but when i put full speed and i am 300 pound but it seem not fast? boat is little up is it normal or need work on carb for more idle speed?

    when i start motor running i noticed water leak from THERMOSTAT cover back of engine so is it easy to fix? if i order all new seal,thermostat,housing,spring?

    1984 20 hp johnson does it same bore size and engine cc as 25hp?? does it speed same on both 20 and 25hp on 14' S-14 lund boat?

    1984 to older 25hp has no cross flow on prop only 1985 to up 25hp has cross flow on prop does it speed differnt ? does cross flow speed little faster than non-cross flow????

    is that true 20 or 25 hp mercury from 70's will go faster than omc 70's 20, 25 hp?? because mercury has cross flow on prop?
