    2002 Mercury 150Hp xr6 Compression and overall reliability of outboard

    I know its an old post, but I was recently looking at a 2001 150 xr6. Appears to be very clean compression was 115,115,115,120,120,120 not sure if this is normal, possible indication of a bad gasket on one side vs the other or am indicator of something worse. Any input would be greatly appreciated

    1979 Chrysler 140 (1409H9B) barn find. Looking for help!

    Not sure if it was the wrong screw. But it was a flat head screw with an o-ring at the bottom to drain the lower unit. That makes a whole lot of sense about the top being a crush washer for 1 time use

    Anyone have luck finding parts at reasonable price. Looking for waterpump FK1069, Distributor belt 85311 (57-f85311) and the lower unit screws (fill, vent and lower drain).

    I have full controls. It's replacing my 1996 force 120. I've just never delt with a belt driven distributor before. Wasn't sure how easy it would be to service it the belt ever goes while I'm out on the water
